You should never feel comfortable making decisions without God involved.
One day a friend messaged me and asked if we could hang out. I replied sure thinking it’s been months since I’ve seen them and I hadn’t hung out with anyone in a long time.
After I replied I got a heavy impression from God that he did not want me to go. I tried to shake it off and justified I was tired of being home and needed some time to hang out with people. And this is my friend and a good person! I for sure thought this was just me being paranoid.
About an hour later I opened my devotional for the day and the entire passage discussed that even if people are good it doesn’t mean that’s who we are to connect with and be around.
If it wasn’t for me reading that devotional it would not have been clear to me that I needed to move on from that friendship.
But what’s really alarming is that God was telling me that anyway and I ignored it because of MY thoughts.
Include God in everything that you do!
