In the fall of last year, I knew God was urging me to to stop participating in a symphonic band I joined earlier in the year. It was hard, because I loved it and enjoyed playing. But, my life was evolving to a new place and more responsibilities. As time went on it became harder to commit the effort needed to be in the band.
Once quarentine occured, just like many things, the band was forced to stop and end its season. For me I knew it was time to resign for good and perhaps it may be part of my life later down the road.
Now that places are opening up again this poses the question….
Are you where you’re suppose to be?
For some quarentine gave rest and refreshment needed to continue on in the places God has purposed for them.
But for others quarantine was a way of escape. And even as I mentioned in my transparency above, it can be an exit from places you love and desire to participate in…just may not be for that time.
I have often wrestled with transitioning from places I knew were a hinderance in my life. However, I have learned on the other side of the tough decisions, I had peace and things shifted into place.
Don’t be in a rush to go back to “normal”. Things are different. You’re different. Use wisdom about the path God desires you to be on.
